| This CD-ROM contains Version A.1-A.5
of the "restricted" public use data from the CARDIA Study. Use of
these data requires acceptance of the distribution agreement
prepared by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. This
version of the data contains information collected during the first
six examinations of the CARDIA
Study as well as the follow-up contacts prior to the
sixth examination.
